Frequently asked
Questions parents ask us.
What is FutureFolio?
FutureFolio is a private student achievement portfolio for grades 6–12. Parents capture awards, certificates, photos, videos, and reflections; the app organizes them into a chronological keepsake families cherish and students share with colleges.
Who is FutureFolio for?
Parents and guardians of middle- and high-school students. Accounts are held by parents; children do not sign in.
Is my child's data private?
Yes. Every moment is stored in a private area of our database, enforced at the database layer. Media lives in a private bucket accessible only through short-lived signed URLs tied to your signed-in session. We never sell your data or train AI on your uploads.
How much does FutureFolio cost?
FutureFolio is free during our founding-family beta. Founding families lock in a permanent discount when paid plans launch.
What file types can I upload?
Photos (JPG, PNG, HEIC), videos (MP4, MOV), and PDF documents up to 50MB each.
Can I use FutureFolio for more than one child?
Yes. One account supports multiple children, and each child has their own private timeline.
Can my student share their portfolio with colleges?
By senior year, the portfolio is already assembled — ready to share with colleges, recruiters, and scholarships. Export tooling is on the roadmap.
How do I delete my account?
You can delete individual moments at any time from the moment detail page. To delete your entire account and every child's keepsake, contact us and we will erase everything within 7 days.
