Our promise

Privacy

This page is maintained by the FutureFolio team to answer common privacy questions about the app.

What we collect

Only what you personally save into the app: your email, your child's first name and grade, the school name if you enter it, and any photos, videos, documents, titles, dates, and descriptions you attach to a moment.

Who can see it

Only you. Every moment, photo, and document is stored in a private area of our database that is scoped to your account and enforced at the database layer. Media files live in a private storage bucket — links are short-lived signed URLs that only work while you are signed in.

We never sell your data

FutureFolio does not sell, rent, or share your family's memories with advertisers, data brokers, or third parties for marketing. We do not train AI models on your uploads.

How AI is used

When you upload a photo or document, its contents are sent one time to an AI provider through our secure gateway to suggest a title, date, and category. The AI provider does not retain the file for training. You can always edit or discard the suggestions.

Deleting your data

You can delete any moment from its detail page at any time — the photo, video, or document is removed from storage in the same step. To delete your entire account and every child's keepsake, contact us using the email below and we will erase it within 7 days.

Children's data

FutureFolio is designed for parents to preserve their own children's memories. Accounts are held by parents, not by children. Children do not sign in and do not have public profiles on FutureFolio.
